CRM System Implementation

I was hired as an intern at a financial management office the summer after my freshman year of college. One of the tasks that I was assigned was to aid in the implementation of a new CRM system for the company. My boss had been utilizing multiple different systems across multiple platforms and wanted me to consolidate that information into one system.

Once I had an understanding of what the scope of the existing client information was, I began to consolidate into one central system. I then selected new information that was not previously categorized that would help with the client segmentation process. Topics such as interests/hobbies, how said client likes to receive financial information, etc. were included in the new system.

In the end, my boss was pleased with the new system. It allowed him to access all of his previously existing information in one central location and offered some new information in addition. This allowed for the company to have a better understanding on how to communicate and interact with their clientele.
